Wilson Landing is the hub of Palmetto Bluff marine activities, with opportunities to store, rent and launch all types of vessels, from full-sized motorboats to smaller electric boats to canoes and kayaks. Wilson Landing includes the Wilson Boatyard dry storage facility with 88 racks accommodating boats up to 36 feet length, plus six platform lifts over the water and a Harbourmaster/Ships Store operation. The Boat Club program offers access to a variety of watercraft at a fraction of the cost of ownership. The Harbourmaster is based at Wilson Landing to address all marine-related matters, including daily weather and boating forecasts as well as boating safety classes. Temporarily housed in the new Expedition Center building, the Harbourmaster will move to the now-under-construction Ships Store when it is completed in the summer. Palmetto Bluff Outfitters - which has an extensive menu of water-based activities planned for 2007 - will take over the Expedition Center in the summer.
